Coche
Island:
19 miles south from Porlamar, 2 ½ hours of quiet navigation. You'll final a
really large beach with a quiet seashore. The anchorage will make you feel at
the dock.
Cubagua Island:
3½ hours of quiet navigation from Porlamar. Famous for the pearls extraction
during the Spanish colony (there are many still left!). Nueva Cadiz, the real first
city founded in South America was there. Quiet and protected anchorage. Wreck and
coral reef snorkeling available.
Los Frailes:
Formed by a group of
three islands. 19 miles N.E. from Porlamar. There are no beaches there. Strong
currents. Excellent place for snorkeling due to the enormous sea
life. Sailing to Los Frailes is just recommended to those with some snorkeling experience and with no seasickness. Available on a two days trip or
full day option.

½ a.m. and being back at 6 ½ p.m. (aprox.) the last day.
